[Loops] EXTERNAL: Re: Loops Workshop SOC

Dear All,

Although Ed's plea to talk to larger communities has some merit,
it is really the smaller focused workshops that allow for in-depth
discussions that hardly take place in huge meetings (like SPD, AGU, COSPAR, etc).
There is just too much on the table at big meetings, so that we get lost
in superficial discussions and parallel sessions. I think we need both.
