11th Coronal Loops Workshop - First announcement

The 11th Coronal Loops Workshop will be held from 25-28 June 2024 in the
city of San Cristobal de La Laguna (Tenerife, Spain). The Coronal Loops
Workshops are a series of highly focused biennial meetings, organized
since 2002. They deal with the observation and modeling of magnetically
confined solar plasma.

In this edition, in addition to discussions of recent progress in the
familiar topics of the workshop, e.g. plasma diagnostics, heating
mechanisms, thermal non-equilibrium, connections with other atmospheric
layers, this meeting will include sessions on three specific themes:
coronal cooling, reconciling 1D vs 3D models, and high resolution
observations.

The SOC members are:

Iñigo Arregui
Susanna Parenti
David Brooks
Tom Van Doorsselaere
Craig Johnston
Anna Malanushenko
Paola Testa

The workshop is organized by the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias
(IAC). The LOC members are:

Iñigo Arregui
Elena Khomenko
David Martínez-Gómez
Anamaría Navarro
Daniel Nóbrega-Siverio
